Well it's been quite a busy time for my mommy so she hasn't been able to get online and help me write my posts. She's got new hours at work and has been doing lots of overtime. Her Grandpa also passed away last week, so she's been dealing with family stuff as well.

Last week my mommy took us to the dog park early in the morning and there was no one there. I was disappointed at first, but then Barbie came running up behind me and started enticing me to play like she does at home. We chased each other back and fourth around the dog park, it was TONS of fun having it be the two of us without any other dogs to interrupt. We got to play the way we liked. I also realized that even though I've grown bigger then Barbie she's still much faster than me. She can make tight turns like no body's business! Every time I thought I had the upper and and was the one chasing her, she would make a quick stop and spin around to chase me before I even realized what happened. Eventually some more people came with their dogs trying to get in on our fun, but as soon as they got near we would stop running and walked back to our mommy till they went away.

I got to go to a fun match in Saturday. The fun match was out on by the Afghan Hound Club of California. They had lectures about agility, lure coursing, and grooming. After the lectures we got to practice being judged and gaiting around like we would do in a real show. My mommy said she was pleased with how I did. I had lots of fun and kept my head up the whole time we were moving around. There's still some room for improvement, like keeping my feet still the entire time while standing, but I'm still a puppy so my Mommy's not that hard on me about being prefect. She said she'd rather see me being happy and acting natural, than stiff and forced.
As you can see I had lots of fun. They even let us all play with some of the agility obstacles.
My brother Nico got the show with our breeder. He ended up winning best puppy in match.
And this is my sister Snickers. She was supposed to go to Canada, but hasn't gone yet. She looks a lot like me right now, but she's a bit more square at the moment. If you couldn't tell she also moves very nicely, she didn't have a foot out of place in any of the photos my mommy took.
I went home with my breeder after the fun match. My mommy is going to pick me up on Sunday so I have a whole week to run around and play with my litter mates. Apparently Barbie is getting spoiled while I'm away, she's even gotten to sleep in my parents bed and cat nap. Can you believe that? They're bed makes a much bed trampoline, I never understand why they only sleep in it and not bounce around and play on it.
I just hope my mommy isn't letting Barbie play with the new flirt toys that she made me. She made them out of some rabbit fur from the craft store and even put a squeaker in some of them. And she fixed my raccoon tail that I broke a few weeks ago. Mommy said her next project is probably going to be making a new bed for our show crate, then it's onto more snoods so I can grow my ears out.
